Literacy with Information and Communication TechnologyIn Hanover School Division

An Introduction to LwICT in Hanover SD

The commitment and hard work of Peer Coaches/Technology Lead Teachers and other K - 8 Hanover staff with an interest in infusing teaching and learning with technology are key to the success of LwICT implementation in our division. Supporting the efforts of these front line educators are the Hanover principals, a LwICT Curriculum Support Teacher, along with the HSD I.T. and Superintendents' Departments.

This site is a "protected" wiki which provides basic information (including sample lessons) and important links on LwICT implementation. It is also serves as a vehicle for Hanover School Division staff members to collaborate (e.g. by contributing lesson ideas, posting questions and providing feedback) as we move towards fuller integration of technology in our schools and classrooms.
